How We Collect
The collection practices of BMSI Credit Services and Check Pro are based on modern sales and counseling techniques. Of course, some folks just refuse to be sold. So for them, we also report collections to the national credit bureaus, and also liberally employ the services of attorneys to litigate those debts that cannot be collected by persuasion.
Collectors using the old fashion “tough guy” approach usually find their letters in the trash and their phone calls unanswered. Sometimes, their clients can end up in court, held accountable for the unethical or illegal practices of their agents.
We are among the very few collection offices to offer, as a standard part of our contract, a mutual indemnification agreement, guaranteeing our clients that we will protect them if they are taken to task for any of our actions.
At BMSI and Check Pro, we are firmly committed to the “Win-Win-Win” scenario. We believe in it completely, and practice it ardently. The concept is simple. Every time a debt is paid, our client wins by getting the money they so richly deserve, we win because we have earned a fee, and the customer wins because they get out of debt. That is the philosophy that drives our collection process.
